Indian foods are native to India. They are heavily influenced by religious & cultural choices. Indian cuisines are still evolving as a result of the nation’s cultural interactions with other societies. They are really different from the rest of world not only from the taste, but also in the methods that they are use to cook are also differ from the other recipes.
Indian foods
are easily recognized from their own spiciness. As it is spicy they are so
nutritional in medical properties. In Sri Lanka there are many Indian food
courts around the world. As you all know Shanthi Vihar in Colombo is a very
famous restaurant. They are having delicious spicy vegetarian food with very
reasonable prices. It is very popular with the locals & also with the
foreigners.
The Mangos in Jaffna is looks half finished is a solidly built in timber roofed dining pavilion with open sides. There is nice scenery. And also you can have good traditional south Indian special foods for reasonable prices to eat.

Amrith restaurant in Colombo is also a very common delicious restaurant among locals & foreigners. This is “A” grand tourist restaurant. They are including both north & south Indian cuisines with them. Foods are in excellent quality because they are prepared by well-experienced Indian chefs.
