in the 17th century. In an early time wrist watches are called as wristlet. It was for
women. Most watches were pocket watches which had covers, carried in a pocket
& attached to a watch chain or watch fob.
On that time this was for women as a passing fad more than a useful timepiece.
Most of men did not use this on that time because if anyone, he quoted as he
would “sooner wear a skirt”. Because everyone believed that it was a bracelet
with a watch for women.
In 1st world war soldiers used to wear this wrist watch to their wrist by using a
leather strap. So it had become popular among everyone in the world.
Nowadays it has taken a commonplace accessory among everyone. Men &
women both are used to wear luxurious, beautiful styles of wrist watches on their
wrist. Some people are really attracted to buy the simplicity of nice watches as a
fashion or valuable ornaments.
Watches Not only for Time
The purpose of using a wrist watch is, it is really easier to check the time more
than pull out a phone on a serious situation. Time is really valuable as same as gold.
So we have to save our valuable time without wasting it. Actually wrist watches
are helping us to do so. We can be somewhere on sharp time if we use it better.
Wrist watch is there for that and also for a fashion.
